Scholarship Opportunities
The Delta Sigma Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated has created an annual $1,000 scholarship to a Pine Bluff or Jefferson County African American male high school graduate enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university.
Eligibility for DSALPHA scholarship applicants

African American male
-
Has at least a 3.0 grade point average in high school or college. Legacy scholarships may have additional criteria listed by the donor

Has been accepted for admission to, or attending as a full-time student an accredited four-year college or university

Is engaged in community service and extracurricular activities

Demonstrates leadership and positive character traits

Sons or male dependents of The Delta Sigma Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated
Requirements for DSALPHA scholarship applicants

Complete the application signed by the student and parent or guardian if the student is not 18 or over

Official high school transcript that incudes applicant's grade point average. The transcript must be in a sealed envelope and must be included with completed application components

Provide two letters of recommendation from a schoolteacher or counselor, and one letter from a non-relative community-based organization official

A 500 Word essay on your educational and educational goals

Provide a professional photograph in jpeg format
